Product description
Mining-coated steel pipes are manufactured by using Q235B/20# seamless or welded steel pipe as the base material. After pre-treatment of both the inner and outer surfaces, they are coated with epoxy (EP), polyethylene (PE), or a dual-resistant (flame-retardant and antistatic) powder coating through processes such as hot-dip plastic coating and electrostatic spraying, resulting in a composite pipe specifically designed for the harsh underground mining environment.
Core Performance (Dual Resistance + Corrosion Protection + High Strength)
Dual Safety Compliance (MT 181): Surface resistance ≤ 1×10⁶ Ω (anti-static) and oxygen index ≥ 28% (flame-retardant), effectively eliminating the risks of electrostatic sparks and combustion/explosion.
Exceptional corrosion and wear resistance: the coating is resistant to acids, alkalis, and highly sulfurous water, with a smooth inner wall (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm), low flow resistance, and no scaling. Its service life is 3–5 times longer than that of conventional steel pipes.
High mechanical strength: the base pipe can withstand pressures of 1.0–6.4 MPa, is impact-resistant and resistant to geological subsidence, and is suitable for complex downhole operating conditions.
Reliable coating: internal coating ≥ 0.3 mm, external coating ≥ 0.5 mm; adhesion ≥ 30 N/10 mm; resistant to delamination and free of pinholes.
Main Uses
Systems for underground coal mine gas drainage, water supply and drainage, positive/negative-pressure ventilation, fire protection, grouting, nitrogen injection, and the like must obtain MA coal safety certification before they can be put into use.
Connection method
Groove-type and flanged connections shall be prioritized; threaded connections must have their internal coating protected to ensure a tight seal.
